Nearby Venues & Events in 2025

There are lots of of events happening within a short drive of Earth Camp in 2025, particularly live music! Here are a few places we recommend. Please note that we are happy for you to arrive back late from an event, as long as any taxi drops you at the entrance, and you are quiet and considerate to other guests on your return:

Venues

180° Bar & Kitchen, Cuckfield - 20 mins drive: A great live music venue at Cuckfield Golf Club. Music nights often include a delicious meal as part of the evening. 

Spring/Summer dates yet TBA, but earlier gigs include an Oasis tribute act and an Ed Sheeran tribute act!

Trading Boundaries, Uckfield - 10 mins drive: A weekly live music venue, with lots of top tribute acts.​

On The Beach, Brighton - 30 mins drive - A fantastic temporary festival venue on Brighton beach, running in July on two weekends: 18th-20th July and 25th-27th July. Some bands TBA.​

The Great Escape Festival - 30 mins drive - The biggest new music festival in Europe, with 450 bands across 35 central Brighton locations. Wed 13th May-Saturday 16th May 2025. I will be going for my 10th time this year, having seen bands just before they were famous in crowds of sometimes 50 people, incl. Mumford & Sons, Blossoms, Wunderhorse, English Teacher, Sports Team, etc. This year includes a rare Pete Doherty performance.​

The Con Club, Lewes - 15 mins drive - A non-for-profit music venue with lots of events on throughout the year. More bands TBA.​

The Brighton Centre - 30 mins drive - Brighton's largest venue, based on Brighton's seafront, with lots of top bands and comedians performing in 2025.

Concorde 2, Brighton - Brighton's best live music venue. This 400 capcity Victorian building next to the beach has hosted some of the worlds best bands over the past 25 years.

Chalk, Brighton - 30 min drive - Brighton seafront music venue.

The Green Door Store, Brighton - Personal, alternative music venue next to Brighton station.
